METHOD FOR ASSESSING THE STRESS STATE OF WELDS BY THE MAGNETOANISOTROPIC METHOD
The study of the stress-strain state by traditional methods is laborious, time-consuming and requires a large amount of measurement work using special equipment. The purpose of this study is to assess the stress state of a welded box by the magnetoanisotropic method. In order to assess the stress-strain state, the object is scanned before and after welding. Scanning of the object demonstrated an increase of stresses in the heat-affected zone of the weld. The present study shows the need to scan welded structures to determine the stress state.
