MODELLING AN EARTHQUAKE USING A BI-NONLINEAR VOLTERRA INTEGRAL EQUATION
This work is devoted to study a construction of a modern scientific
demonstration dealing with the seismic tremor wonder. The originality of our study, is that we use a nonconstant contact resistance. Our
earthquake model is represented by the bi-nonlinear Volterra equation. We show that this equation admits a unique solution under
some reasonable conditions. Numerical tests show that our practical
study superbly addresses this physical phenomenon.
